Patient is a human-being not a disease. He or She has body, mind, heart and souls.  And these four parts form the four dimensions of health (physical, mental, social and spiritual). They   are over- lapping on each other. Each aspect can affect and affected by the other on the same time. The inter link relation between all of them create the uniqueness of each human-being.  It give each person his or her special taste.

Low health literacy has a negative impact on a patient’s health status. Patients with low health literacy are unable to make decisions regarding their health care or follow doctor’s instructions and maintain healthy life style

AAA can raise Patient health literacy to modify their risky life style, to help patients to cope with their chronic diseases and to prevent complication.

Suggested Topics to raise health literacy :

It will focus on self-care for any chronic disease such as Diabetes mellitus, Hypertension, Bronchial asthma, sickle cell disease etc. Session can be delivered to:

  1. Individual Patient : Face to face
  2. Group discussion : 5-10 patients with same disease
  3. General health education class : 11-30 person

To Schools

Health education builds students’ knowledge, skills, right mindset and positive attitudes about health and quality of life. Health education teaches about physical, mental, social and spiritual health. It aspire students to take an action to achieve better health, reduce risky behaviors, and enhance quality of their live.

Adulthood habits start way back since childhood, therefore teaching children and teen about health and empower them with life skills can save them from peer and media pressure letter.  Furthermore, it will shape their future habit
